If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!  We seek a Franchise Funding Sales Consultant to join our team and play a pivotal role in assisting candidates in securing funding for their new franchise ventures.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Consultative Sales:  Engage in consultative discussions with candidates to understand their financial situation, including factors such as credit score, net worth, debt, and risk tolerance.  Assess their funding needs and guide them through various financing options.
  • Lead Management:  Receive leads from franchise brokers, franchisors, CPAs, Attorneys, and other professionals and evaluate their ability to move forward financially.  Nurture these leads through the funding evaluation process.  Regularly contact candidates to ensure we align with their funding timeline.
  • Communication:  Provide timely updates to both candidates and referral sources regarding the status of funding decisions.  Clearly communicate both positive and negative outcomes.
  • Influence and Persuasion:  Use effective communication skills and emotional intelligence to influence candidates and guide them towards choosing our financial solutions.  Overcome objections and build trust with potential customers over the phone.
  • Relationship Building:  Attend various franchise industry conferences and events throughout the year to establish and maintain relationships with franchise brokers, franchisors, and other potential referral sources.  Cultivate these relationships to ensure a consistent flow of leads.
  • Work internally with multiple departments to achieve goals.
  • Work externally to network with current and future referral sources.

Knowledge & Skills Required

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to build rapport quickly and establish trust with clients and referral sources.
  • Proven track record in consultative sales or financial services.
  • Emotional intelligence and the ability to empathize with candidates’ financial situations.
  • Self-motivated, self-starter, results-oriented.
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Polished, highly articulate professional.
  • Knowledge of the franchise industry (some experience preferred). 

Proficiency and/or experience in the following preferred:

  • Salesforce Sales Cloud
  • Microsoft Outlook

  • Zoom/Teams
