Lending Specialist

What You’ll Be Doing

• Conduct in-depth analysis of potential borrower financial information to determine loan eligibility
• Present analysis and recommendation regarding potential borrowers to lenders for initial interest/pre-approval
• Maintain superior level of customer service, while ensuring timely and accurate communication among various parties

Knowledge & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business or Finance, or compensating experience
• Knowledge of commercial credit policies and procedures, credit/financial statement analysis, loan structuring, and cash flow analysis.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, financial statement analysis and interpretation, and tax return analysis.
• Strong oral and written communication skills in a lending environment
• Demonstrated effective customer service skills
• Strong professional and business writing skills
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Experience with Salesforce is a plus
• Prefer 2+ years of lending sales, processing, or underwriting experience in SBA lending or a related field.
• Willingness and ability to travel for business purposes
