FranFund is seeking an experienced Director of Accounting to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for all accounting and financial reporting responsibilities, as well as other activities and projects that contribute to the stability and growth of the Company. Our ideal candidate uses strong analytical skills to create detailed financial reports and is comfortable working directly with the executive team.

What You’ll Be Doing
Organize financial data into usable information and obtain updated records
Manage month-end and year-end closing to ensure timely and accurate results
Comply with local, state, and federal government requirements
Prepare reporting for company leadership review as requested
Manage employee expense process and reporting
Establish accounting policies and procedures, aligned with company targets
Responsible for vendor 1099 filings and year-end reporting requirements
Work with clients, vendors, or other external parties to resolve issues as needed
Lead process improvement activities related to all central accounting functions as required, i.e. journal entry automation, creating standard processes, and other finance transformation initiatives
Who You Are
Reside in the Fort Worth, TX area (this is an in-office role)
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar field of study
At least 5 years’ of progressive accounting experience
CPA or public accounting experience
Solid knowledge of general accounting principles, laws and regulations
Excellent analytical skills to manage large amounts of data
Unwavering attention to detail and accuracy
Previous experience managing the payroll process
Experience working with QuickBooks, ADP and, Salesforce
Previous franchise accounting experience a plus
Location
Must be able to commute to our downtown Fort Worth office – this is not a remote position.
